Solana & Robinhood

Two chains, one recovery phrase, one side panel. Here is how the pieces fit together.

Subslot trades Solana and Robinhood Chain (an Arbitrum Orbit L2, chain ID 4663, native asset ETH). They share your seed phrase and your wallet list, and almost nothing else — the two chains work differently enough that pretending otherwise would hide things you need to see.

One seed, separate wallets

A wallet belongs to exactly one chain. Solana wallets and EVM wallets are separate rows in My Wallets, each with its own address, balance and history. Both are derived from the same recovery phrase, so a single backup still restores everything.

Each chain has its own primary wallet, labelled primary (sol) and primary (evm). The first wallet you create on each chain becomes that chain’s primary.

Switching networks

The network selector and your active wallet stay in sync in both directions:

You can never be on Robinhood with a Solana wallet selected, or the reverse. If you only have wallets on one chain, the other still appears in the selector — disabled, with an explanation — so it is obvious the second chain exists and what to do about it.

Choosing how you use the wallet

Onboarding asks how you intend to use Subslot: Solana only, Robinhood only, or both. Picking a single chain hides the other chain’s UI entirely — no network switch, no prompts to create wallets you do not want.

You can change this later in Settings, with one exception: once you hold wallets on both chains, you cannot narrow back to a single chain, because that would hide wallets holding real funds.

Settings that are per-chain

RPC endpoints are set per network — a Solana endpoint and an EVM endpoint speak different protocols, so they are separate fields with their own latency test. Quick-trade presets and slippage are also kept per chain, since a sensible SOL buy size is not a sensible ETH one.
